USA more Shy, show Iran Aircraft Unmanned spy who Shot Fall
TEHRAN - Iranian television displaying what they say as a spy plane shot down unmanned from the country's airspace. Impressions are made after U.S. officials expressed concern and desperately denied their aircraft into unmanned spy, although later admitted.
According to the semi-official news agency Fars, in the television segment, the Revolutionary Guard Air Force commander, Amir Ali Hajizadeh, said that Iranian forces found the plane "that infiltrate our country's airspace to spy on our mission."
"Having entered the eastern part of the country, this plane crashed into the trap of our armed forces and the fall in Iran with minimal damage," said Hajizadeh in Fars.
According to the Iranian military officials, that unmanned aircraft "equipped with highly advanced surveillance, data collection, electronic communications, and radar systems." Such aircraft, he said, has been designed to avoid radar systems. This is the latest technology of advanced aircraft used by the United States.
"The technology used in these aircraft has been used in the B2 and F35 aircraft," added Hajizadeh. The plane is controlled and guided via satellite links and land stations in Afghanistan and the United States.
"Military experts are well aware of how valuable information technology this aircraft," wrote Fars quoted Hajizadeh.
RQ-170 has been used in Afghanistan for several years. U.S. officials acknowledge that the military was losing control of one of the hidden aircraft while flying a mission in western Afghanistan. The official news agency IRNA said Iranian forces had shot down the plane.
On Monday, U.S. military officials said they were concerned that a hidden surveillance plane that crashed in Iran and could provide an opportunity to gather information about the secret program.
But experts said Monday that even if Iran found the plane unmanned spy, they may get a bit of it.
